Approaching seven decades of life, it's hard to believe just how fast these years have passed by. Even now, I find
myself still striving to balance the things of this life to make sure I'm seeking first, "the Kingdom of God" Matt.
6:33. If the younger folks think that it gets easier as one get's older. . . . I'm afraid they're in for a surpirse: )
The Word of God tells us to seek those things eternal, the unseen things, {II Cor. 4:22} storing up for ourselves treasures in Heaven and not here on earth. Not always easy living in an effulent nation such as ours. In fact, without the Spirit of the Living God withiin us, it would be impossible.
If I could leave one thing to share with the Brethren, it is this; we enter into the Kingdom of God (the Heavenly Jerusalem) at the moment of Salvation. . . it is not some future event. Our citizenship is in Heaven, and we are but Pilgirms passing through this short time of life.
Be a good steward of what God has blessed you with. . . and reedem the days. . . how ever many that's been appointed to you.
